Hexagon quilt Circles of Faith

Today I will show you our hexagon quilt, this is what the Wednesday girls and I have been up to over the summer – we wanted to make and donate a quilt to CanAssist, and as I have managed to get most of the girls addicted to hexagons day and night, what better to do than a hexagon quilt.  I drafted up the centre piece and once I had everyone’s approval, off we went and are still going with the stitching.

This is Belinda, Judy, Helen, Kaye and Sharon all working feverishly  at Patchwork on Parker sewing room, before the day ended and we had to pack up. I will show you the finished quilt in a few weeks time.  Circles of Faith will be raffled soon, so if you would like to purchase tickets please leave a comment with an email address.

WELCOME – to the new Country Matters blog – what to you think?  Now you will have to forgive me for this blog post and the next few as I get used to a new system – baby steps for awhile, so if the photos are not quite big enough or it doesn’t look quite right, then hopefully with practice I will get better.  Please leave a comment if you like it or anything else you see.

I will be back with more news I promise more often now that the year is back into swing.

Till next time,

Janelle
